Promotion Terms and Conditions
The Promotion
When you complete the designated registration process of opening a Personal Portfolio (as defined below) in accordance with the eligibility requirements set forth below, we will make one or more deposits of funds into the cash balance of your Personal Portfolio. This Promotion is subject to the terms and conditions stated herein (the “Promotion Terms”).
Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in this Promotion and receive the First Deposit (as defined below), you must receive an offer message to participate in this Promotion and complete the following steps: (i) visit the following unique landing page https://www.stash.com/start-investing/BMF22, (ii) successfully complete the designated registration process of opening an individual taxable brokerage account advised by Stash Investments LLC (“Stash”) that is in good standing (a “Personal Portfolio”), as displayed by the interactive instructions shown via unique landing page and the Stash platform, AND (iii) initiate and complete a minimum deposit of at least five dollars ($5.00) from your funding source into your Personal Portfolio. For purposes of this Promotion, a deposit of funds shall be considered complete once the transaction has fully settled in your Personal Portfolio. If you satisfy the conditions stated in this paragraph, Stash will make a one-time deposit of fifty dollars ($50.00) into the cash balance of your Personal Portfolio (the “First Deposit”).
To be eligible to receive the Second Deposit (as defined below), you must complete the following steps: (i) attend the Black Money Forum Juneteenth Community Event (the “Event”) in person, (ii) scan either the Stash-branded QR code or interact with a follow-up offer message sent directly from Stash during or following the Event, AND (iii) your Personal Portfolio remains in good standing at the time you complete step (ii) above. If you satisfy the conditions stated in this paragraph, Stash will make a one-time deposit of fifty dollars ($50.00) into the cash balance of your Personal Portfolio (the “Second Deposit”). Both the First Deposit and Second Deposit hereunder shall be collectively referred to hereunder as the “Bonus Funds”.
For the avoidance of doubt, in the event you only complete the designated registration process to receive the Financial Counseling Service (if applicable to you, as such term is defined in your Advisory Agreement) from Stash, or you do not otherwise complete the designated registration process required for opening a Personal Portfolio in accordance with the above on or after the Effective Date, you will not be eligible to receive the Bonus Funds under this Promotion. Further, you may complete the requirements to earn the First Deposit following the Event, and still earn the Second Deposit by following the instructions noted above.
You are only eligible to participate in this Promotion if you received this Promotion directly from Stash and/or The Brooklyn Bank (or any of their respective partners). You are only eligible to receive one (1) First Deposit and Second Deposit hereunder, even in the event you complete more than one deposit of funds from your funding account into your Personal Portfolio. You will not be eligible to receive the Second Deposit unless you attend the Event in person. Bonus Funds must remain in your Personal Portfolio for ninety (90) days beginning from the date the Bonus Funds are deposited into your Personal Portfolio and for the entirety of the 90-day period. The Bonus Funds deposited by Stash is a fixed cash value and does not constitute stock or any other security, nor is it a recommendation to buy any specific stock or other security. Tax-advantaged accounts (including Stash Retire and Stash Custodial accounts) and a Stash Smart Portfolio are not eligible for this Promotion.
Your Personal Portfolio must remain in good standing in order to receive the Bonus Funds. Stash reserves the right to determine in our sole discretion whether an account is closed and/or in good standing. An account in good standing for purposes of this Promotion is an account for which all required account opening documentation has been completed and verified, and is not locked, or restricted, or otherwise flagged in any way. If your Personal Portfolio is closed or not in good standing for any reason at any time, your Bonus Funds will be forfeited.

You remain responsible for ancillary fees that are not included in the monthly Wrap Fee. A list of such ancillary fees is included in our Advisory Agreement. Stash is not responsible for any failure on your part to meet standards for qualifying for this Promotion. Stash reserves the right to amend or cancel this Promotion and/or these Promotion Terms at any time. Stash may withhold or recover any Bonus Funds if Stash determines that such funds were obtained under wrongful or fraudulent circumstances, or that you received an invitation from Stash to participate in this Promotion in error, or were awarded to you in error, or that inaccurate or incomplete information was provided when opening your account, or that any terms of our Advisory Agreement, Terms of Use, or these Promotion Terms have been violated. Promotion available to U.S residents only. This Promotion is not valid with any other promotions and is non-transferrable. The value of the Bonus Funds hereunder may be taxable income to you. You are responsible for any federal or state taxes resulting from receipt of the Bonus Funds hereunder and should consult your tax advisor if you have questions about the tax treatment of Bonus Funds. If, for any reason, this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Stash which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Stash reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with this Promotion, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion. In the event of termination, Stash may in its sole discretion award Bonus Funds to those who have satisfied the eligibility criteria set forth herein up until the time of termination. Stash assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, this Promotion. Stash is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Stash on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Promotion.
