Stash Direct Deposit Promotion 
Terms and Conditions

The Promotion

Effective July 12, 2021 through September 10, 2021 (the “Promotion Period”), if you meet the eligibility requirements described below and you sign up to have one or more direct deposit payments post electronically to your Stash Banking account, then you will be eligible to receive a one-time deposit of $50 into the cash balance of your Personal Portfolio (as defined below). This Promotion is subject to the terms and conditions stated herein (the “Promotion Terms”). 

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in this Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Promotion Period: (i) receive an offer message to participate in this Promotion directly from Stash; (ii) already have (or complete the designated registration process of opening) both an individual taxable brokerage account advised by Stash Investments LLC (a “Personal Portfolio”) and a Stash Banking account powered by Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC, that are each in good standing, AND (iii) sign up through either the Stash mobile applications and/or website (collectively, the “Stash Platform”) to have one or more recurring direct deposits post electronically from the account of the payer directly to your Stash Banking account. If you satisfy all of the conditions stated in the previous sentence during the Promotion Period, Stash will make a one-time deposit of fifty dollars ($50.00) directly into the cash balance of your Personal Portfolio (your “Bonus Funds”).  

For the avoidance of doubt: (a) any direct deposit from the account of the payer that posts electronically to your Stash Banking account during the Promotion Period that is not a recurring or regularly scheduled electronic direct deposit payment will not be eligible for purposes of this Promotion; (b) in the event you only complete the designated registration process to receive the Financial Counseling Service (if applicable to you, as such term is defined in your Advisory Agreement) from Stash, or you do not otherwise complete the designated registration process required for opening both a Personal Portfolio and Stash Banking account in accordance with the above, you will not be eligible to receive the Bonus Funds under this Promotion. 

You are only eligible to participate in this Promotion if you receive an invitation to participate directly from Stash. You are only eligible to receive one cash reward of Bonus Funds under this Promotion. The Bonus Funds will be deposited into your Personal Portfolio within thirty (30) calendar days from the date you satisfy the conditions stated herein. The Bonus Funds deposited by Stash is a fixed cash value and does not constitute stock or any other security, nor is it a recommendation to buy any specific stock or other security. The Bonus Funds must remain in your Personal Portfolio for ninety (90) days beginning from the date the Bonus Funds are deposited into your Personal Portfolio and for the entirety of the 90-day period, which shall be determined by Stash in its sole discretion.

Your Stash Banking account at Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC, and your Personal Portfolio each must be in good standing in order to participate in this Promotion. Stash and/or Green Dot Bank reserve the right to determine in its and/or our sole or joint discretion whether an account is closed and/or in good standing. An account in good standing for purposes of this Promotion is an account for which all required account opening documentation has been completed and verified, and is not locked, or restricted, or otherwise flagged in any way. If either account is closed or not in good standing for any reason at any time, you will forfeit your eligibility to participate in this Promotion or receive Bonus Funds hereunder. 

A Stash Banking account is also subject to approval by Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC. You must pass Green Dot Bank’s customer identification procedures and otherwise be approved by Green Dot Bank for a Stash Banking Account, and you must agree to electronic delivery of disclosures, Green Dot Bank’s deposit account agreement, and any other account documentation required for opening in order to open a Stash Banking account. There is no guarantee that you will be approved to open a Stash Banking account.

You remain responsible for ancillary fees that are not included in the monthly Wrap Fee. A list of such ancillary fees is included in our Advisory Agreement. Stash is not responsible for any failure on your part to meet standards for qualifying for this Promotion. Stash reserves the right to amend or cancel this Promotion and/or these Promotion Terms at any time. Stash may withhold or recover any Bonus Funds if Stash determines that such funds were obtained under wrongful or fraudulent circumstances, or that you received an invitation from Stash to participate in this Promotion in error, or were awarded to you in error, or that inaccurate or incomplete information was provided when opening your account, or that any terms of our Advisory Agreement, Terms of Use, or these Promotion Terms have been violated. Promotion available to U.S residents only. This Promotion is not valid with any other promotions and is non-transferrable. The value of the Bonus Funds hereunder may be taxable income to you. You are responsible for any federal or state taxes resulting from receipt of the Bonus Funds hereunder and should consult your tax advisor if you have questions about the tax treatment of Bonus Funds. 

If, for any reason, this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Stash which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Stash reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with this Promotion, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion. In the event of termination, Stash may in its sole discretion award Bonus Funds to those who have satisfied the eligibility criteria set forth herein up until the time of termination. Stash assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, this Promotion. Stash is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Stash on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Promotion.
