Stash Invest Direct Deposit Fee Waiver & Double Stock-Back™ Promotion Terms and Conditions

Effective May 1, 2019, this Promotion will not be available to new Stash customers who open a Stash Invest account and a Stash Debit account. Existing Stash customers who had a Stash Invest account prior to May 1, 2019, and who comply with these Promotion Terms, will be eligible to participate in the Promotion.

The Promotion

This Promotion will enable you to get the Stash Fee (as defined in your Advisory Agreement) for your Stash Invest account waived and to earn double Stock-Back™ rewards based on direct deposits posted to your Stash debit account during the Promotional Period (as defined below). As further described below, you will be eligible for this Promotion when you have one or more recurring direct deposits of at least $1,000 in aggregate post to your Stash debit account in a calendar month. This Promotion is subject to the terms and conditions stated herein (the “Promotion Terms”).

The “Promotional Period” will begin March 12, 2019 and end July 31, 2019. Accordingly, you must satisfy the direct deposit eligibility requirements described below during one or more of the calendar months of March, April, May, June or July, in order to qualify for the Stash Fee waiver and double Stock-Back rewards in April, May, June, July or August, respectively.  Accordingly, any direct deposit must post to your Stash debit account during the time period beginning 12:01 AM (ET) on March 12, 2019 and ending on 11:59 PM (ET) on July 31, 2019, to be included for purposes of determining your eligibility for this Promotion as described further below.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this Promotion, you must have a Stash Invest account and a Stash debit account, both of which must be in good standing (as further described below), and you must have one or more recurring direct deposits from your paycheck(s) posted to your Stash debit account totaling at least $1,000 for the respective calendar month. For each calendar month that your posted direct deposits equal at least $1,000 in the aggregate, (1) we’ll waive the Stash Fee for your Stash Invest account for the following calendar month and (2) you’ll earn Stock-Back rewards in a dollar amount equal to 0.25% of the aggregate amount of any and all qualifying purchases posted to your Stash debit account during the following calendar month (or, if greater, a fixed dollar amount of $0.01 per qualifying purchase). Any Stock-Back rewards are subject to the Stock-Back™ Rewards Terms and Conditions that you agreed to, as amended, when you chose to participate in the Stock-Back Rewards program.

For example, if you receive a paycheck twice per calendar month and set up direct deposit so that at least $500 from each paycheck is posted to your Stash debit account in March, we’ll waive the Stash Fee for your Stash Invest account in April, and you’ll earn 0.25% Stock-Back as described above on all qualifying purchases you make with your Stash debit card that post to your Stash debit account during the month of April.

Your Stash debit account at Green Dot Bank, member FDIC, and your Stash Invest taxable brokerage account advised by Stash Investments LLC each must be in good standing in order to receive the fee waiver and/or any Stock-Back rewards. We and/or Green Dot Bank reserve the right to determine in our and/or its sole or joint discretion whether an account is closed and/or in good standing. An account in good standing for purposes of this Promotion is an account for which all required opening documentation has been completed and verified, and is not locked, or restricted, or otherwise flagged in any way.  If either account is closed or not in good standing for any reason at any time, any fee waiver and/or Stock-Back rewards you receive will be forfeited. Double Stock-Back will not apply to any bonus, promotional or other special categories of Stock-Back rewards. There is no requirement to maintain a minimum balance in your Stash debit account.

A list of such ancillary fees is included in our Advisory Agreement.  A Stash Invest account is an individual brokerage account advised by Stash Investments LLC. Tax-advantaged accounts (including Stash Retire and Stash Custodial accounts) are not eligible for this Promotion. Stash is not responsible for any failure on your part to meet standards for qualifying for this Promotion.  Stash may withhold or recover any fees waived and/or Stock-Back rewards earned if Stash determines that such fee waiver andor rewards were obtained under wrongful or fraudulent circumstances, that inaccurate or incomplete information was provided when opening your account, or that any terms of our Advisory Agreement, Terms of Use, or these Promotion Terms have been violated. Stash reserves the right to amend or cancel this Promotion and/or these Promotion Terms at any time.  Promotion available to U.S residents only. This Promotion is non-transferrable.
