Stash Gift Boxes Program
Terms and Conditions
Effective December 19, 2019 through December 31, 2019 (the “Program Period”) for participants who receive an invitation to participate in the program described herein.
General Description
The Stash Gift Boxes Program (the “Gift Boxes Program”) is a promotional program offered by Stash Investments LLC (“Stash”) where current and prospective Stash customers may invite their friends and family to claim Gift Box Bonuses (as defined below) during the Program Period subject to the terms and conditions herein (the “Gift Boxes Program Terms”). In order to be eligible to claim a Gift Box Bonus hereunder, an invitee must open a Qualifying Stash Invest Account (as defined below) during the Program Period in accordance with these Gift Boxes Program Terms.
By choosing to participate in the Gift Boxes Program, you are accepting and agreeing to these Gift Boxes Program Terms. These Gift Boxes Program Terms form an agreement between you and Stash with respect to the Gift Boxes Program. You should read these Gift Boxes Program Terms carefully.
Eligibility
Any person, whether a current Stash customer or a prospective Stash customer, is eligible to send invitations to their friends and family to participate in the Gift Boxes Program (each, an “Eligible Sender”) during the Program Period. Not all invitee friends and family, however, will be eligible to participate in the Gift Boxes Program and claim a Gift Box Bonus hereunder during the Program Period, as further described below.
To be eligible to participate in this Gift Boxes Program and claim a Gift Box Bonus, you must satisfy each of the following conditions in the following order during the Program Period (each such person that satisfies these requirements shall be deemed an “Eligible Participant”):
Step 1: You must receive a unique invitation link from an Eligible Sender to participate in the Gift Boxes Program;
Step 2: You must visit the unique invitation link and enter your first name, last name and a valid email address, along with completing any additional interactive instructions associated therewith;
Step 3: Stash will send you a “Come Get Your Gift” email to your valid email address provided under Step 2 above and you must complete the detailed interactive instructions describing how to claim your Gift Box Bonus contained thereunder;
Step 4: You must open a Qualifying Stash Invest Account; and
Step 5: your Qualifying Stash Invest Account must be and remain in good standing (as defined below).
For the avoidance of doubt, you will not be deemed an “Eligible Participant” hereunder if you either: (i) have already completed the process of opening an individual taxable brokerage account advised by Stash prior to receiving an invitation to participate in this Gift Boxes Program, (ii) fail to complete the process of opening a Qualifying Stash Invest Account during the Program Period strictly in accordance with the eligibility steps outlined herein, OR (iii) have already initiated but not completed the process of opening an individual taxable brokerage account advised by Stash and created a unique username and password with Stash prior to receiving an invitation to participate in this Gift Boxes Program. Stash reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion whether any person qualifies as an “Eligible Participant” hereunder.
To constitute a “Qualifying Stash Invest Account” hereunder, an Eligible Participant must during the Program Period (i) complete the process of opening a new individual taxable brokerage account advised by Stash in accordance with these Gift Boxes Program Terms (a “Stash invest account”), (ii) link a funding account (e.g. a bank account) to the Stash invest account, and (iii) initiate a minimum deposit of five dollars ($5.00) into the Stash invest account. Tax-advantaged accounts (including Roth IRAs and Traditional IRAs) provided through Stash Retire or Stash Custodial accounts do not constitute a Qualifying Stash Invest Account.
Each Eligible Participant also acknowledges and accepts that the Eligible Sender who sent each Eligible Participant a unique invitation link to participate in this Gift Boxes Program will be notified when such Eligible Participant opens a Qualifying Stash Invest Account..
Stash reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion whether a Qualifying Stash Invest Account is closed and/or in good standing. An account in good standing for purposes of this Gift Boxes Program is an account for which all required opening documentation has been completed and verified, and is not locked, or restricted, or otherwise flagged in any way. If your Qualifying Stash Invest Account is closed or not in good standing for any reason at any time, any Gift Box Bonus you receive hereunder may be forfeited.
Gift Box Bonuses
Subject to these Gift Boxes Program Terms, Eligible Participants will be eligible to claim a one-time cash reward, the amount of which is attributable to the exact millisecond within the second during which such Eligible Participant first completes “Step 2” above during the Program Period, as shown below (each, a “Gift Box Bonus”):

| 999th millisecond of the second | $200.00 |
The amount of your Gift Box Bonus will be fixed based on the first time that you complete Step 2 above during the Program Period which shall be determined by Stash in its sole discretion. Further, each Eligible Participant is only eligible to claim one (1) Gift Box Bonus during the Program Period upon completing the process of opening a Qualifying Stash Invest Account. All Gift Box Bonuses offered during the Program Period, in aggregate, will also be limited to a maximum cash value of twenty-four thousand dollars ($24,000.00), which shall be calculated by Stash in its sole discretion.
All Gift Box Bonuses hereunder will be paid in U.S. Dollars. A Gift Box Bonus must remain in your Qualifying Stash Invest Account for ninety (90) days beginning from the date the Gift Box Bonus is deposited into your Qualifying Stash Invest Account and for the entirety of the 90-day period. The Gift Box Bonus deposited by Stash is a fixed cash value and does not constitute stock or any other security, nor is it a recommendation to buy any specific stock or other security. The value of any Gift Box Bonuses hereunder may be taxable income to you. You are responsible for any federal or state taxes resulting from receipt of a Gift Box Bonus. Please consult your tax advisor if you have questions about the tax treatment of a Gift Box Bonus.
Gift Box Invitations
Each invitation sent by an Eligible Sender and received by an Eligible Participant will be subject to the eligibility requirements set forth above. Stash is not responsible for incorrect data entry or other failure on the part of any person to meet the eligibility requirements for this Gift Boxes Program. Further, by choosing to participate in this Gift Boxes Program, each Eligible Sender and/or Eligible Participant hereby acknowledges and agrees that this Gift Boxes Program and all information provided hereunder will be governed by Stash’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, which can be found at https://www.stashinvest.com/disclosurelibrary.
Each Eligible Sender that sends an invitation to participate in the Gift Boxes Program during the Program Period expressly acknowledges and agrees to each of the following:
- To only send Gift Boxes Program invitations during the Program Period
- To only send Gift Boxes Program invitations to people they know personally by utilizing their unique invitation link and sharing tools provided by Stash
- To only send one (1) invitation in their name to each family member or friend that they invite to participate in the Gift Boxes Program
- Each family member or friend that they refer to participate in the Gift Boxes Program will be able to tell that such Eligible Sender sent them an invitation, including authorizing Stash to display such Eligible Sender’s name on their unique invitation link
- Unless expressly approved and authorized in writing by Stash, each Eligible Sender may not make any statements to the family members or friends they refer to participate in this Gift Boxes Program about Stash’s investment advisory products or services, or about such person’s experience as a Stash customer (as applicable)
- Not to make any statements that are untruthful, factually inaccurate, or misleading
Each Eligible Sender also hereby acknowledges and agrees that any modification or efforts to bypass, manipulate, obscure or otherwise modify the delivery and accurate presentation of the unique invitation link, sharing tools, content, disclosures or other materials and instructions provided by Stash in connection with this Gift Boxes Program will be considered a violation of these Gift Boxes Program Terms and Stash may render you ineligible to participate further in the Gift Boxes Program or send any further invitations to participate in the Gift Boxes Program.
Stash reserves the right to refuse to reward any Gift Box Bonuses hereunder if it determines that any person has failed to comply with these Gift Boxes Program Terms, particularly with the terms of this “Gift Boxes Invitations” section.
Other Program Information
Stash Investments LLC is an SEC registered investment adviser. Your Advisory Agreement with Stash governs our investment advisory relationship with you and these Gift Boxes Program Terms do not in any way amend, supersede, change or replace your Advisory Agreement. You remain responsible for ancillary fees that are not included in the monthly Wrap Fee. A list of such ancillary fees is included in our Advisory Agreement. The Gift Boxes Program is not sponsored or endorsed by Green Dot Bank, Green Dot Corporation, Visa U.S.A., or any of their respective affiliates, and none of the foregoing has any responsibility to fulfill any rewards earned by this Gift Boxes Program.
Stash reserves the right to amend or cancel this Gift Boxes Program and/or these Gift Boxes Program Terms at any time. Stash is not responsible for any failure on your part to meet standards for qualifying for this Gift Boxes Program. Stash may withhold or recover any Gift Boxes Bonuses or remove you from this Gift Boxes Program if Stash determines that such rewards were obtained under wrongful or fraudulent circumstances, or was awarded to you in error, or that you received an invitation to participate in this Gift Boxes Program in error, or that inaccurate or incomplete information was provided when opening your account, or that any terms of our Advisory Agreement, Terms of Use, or these Gift Boxes Program Terms have been violated. This Gift Boxes Program is available to U.S residents only. This Gift Boxes Program is not valid with any other offers and is non-transferrable.
