Group Life Insurance | Stash + Avibra
Program Terms and Conditions
Group life insurance coverage provided through Avibra, Inc., a party not affiliated with Stash but with which Stash has a contractual relationship. Avibra will pay any and all premiums to the insurer for the insurance coverage on behalf of the insured until coverage terminates.
In the event Avibra fails to pay any and all premiums or otherwise is no longer willing or able to maintain the coverage for the insured, Stash is not responsible for maintaining the insurance coverage on behalf of the insured and in particular is not responsible for paying any premium or portion thereof to the insurer. Instead, coverage shall terminate and any former insured shall be entitled to a conversion policy in accordance with the policy conversion terms and conditions as detailed in the member certificate. The insured will be responsible for any premiums under any conversion policy and such premiums will necessarily be higher than the premiums owed by an insured under this group life insurance coverage.
Only individuals between ages 18 through and including 54 and who are residents of one of the 50 U.S. states or the District of Columbia are eligible for group life insurance coverage, subject to availability. Individuals aged 55 and above as of the date and time of the submission of their application to Avibra are not permitted to apply for this group life insurance coverage. Individuals with certain pre-existing medical conditions may not be eligible for the full amount of coverage identified above, but may instead receive a lesser coverage amount.
Stash Investments LLC is a SEC registered investment adviser. You may view our Wrap Fee Brochure and our Advisory Agreements at https://www.stash.com/disclosurelibrary. Stash is not responsible for any failure on your part to complete the Avibra application and/or maintain insurance coverage. Stash reserves the right to amend or cancel this offer at any time, but such amendment or cancellation will not affect coverage then in-effect.
The Stash monthly subscription fee starts at $1.00, and you’ll also bear the standard fees and expenses reflected in the pricing of the ETFs in your account, plus fees for various ancillary services charged by Stash.
Stash may receive compensation from business partners in connection with certain promotions in which Stash refers clients to such partners for the purchase of non-investment consumer products or services. This type of marketing partnership gives Stash an incentive to refer clients to business partners instead of to businesses that are not partners of Stash. This conflict of interest affects the ability of Stash to provide clients with unbiased, objective promotions concerning the products and services of its business partners. This could mean that the products and/or services of other businesses, that do not compensate Stash, may be more appropriate for a client than the products and/or services of Stash’s business partners. Clients are, however, not required to purchase the products and services Stash promotes.
