Promotion Terms and Conditions

The Promotion

Starting 12:01 (AM) ET on December 23, 2020 and ending 11:59 PM (ET) on June 30, 2021 (the “Promotion Period”), when you complete the process of opening a Stash Invest Account (as defined below) and meet the additional eligibility requirements set forth below, you will be eligible to receive a one-time cash bonus of up to $510 into the cash balance of your Stash Invest Account. This Promotion is subject to the terms and conditions stated herein (the “Promotion Terms”). 

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in this Promotion, you must complete each of the following steps  during the Promotion Period: (i) receive an offer to participate in this Promotion directly from Stash, (ii) complete the process of opening an individual brokerage account advised by Stash Investments LLC that is in good standing (a “Stash Invest Account”), (ii) successfully link a funding account (e.g. an external bank account) to your Stash Invest Account, AND (iii) initiate and complete a minimum deposit of at least five dollars ($5.00) from your funding account into your Stash Invest Account. For purposes of this Promotion, a deposit shall be considered complete once the transaction has fully settled in your Stash Invest Account. If you satisfy the conditions stated in this paragraph during the Promotion Period, Stash will make a one-time deposit of ten dollars ($10.00) (a “Funded Reward”) into the cash balance of your Stash Invest Account in accordance with these Promotion Terms. 

Once you have completed the steps outlined in the paragraph above and are eligible to receive a Funded Reward, you may be eligible to receive an “Investment Reward”, as defined below. In order to be eligible to receive an Investment Reward, you must complete the following conditions during the time period starting on the date that you successfully open your Stash Invest Account and ending one (1) year later (such period shall be referred to as your “One-Year Period”): (i) maintain your Stash Invest Account, and (ii) complete the process of purchasing one or more investments in your Stash Invest Account through any method available through the Stash Platform (as defined below) in an amount equal to or greater than one-hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00), in the aggregate. For purposes of this Promotion, an investment shall be considered complete once the transaction has fully settled in your Stash Invest Account. If you complete the conditions outlined in this paragraph during your One-Year Period, Stash will make a one-time deposit of five-hundred dollars ($500.00) (an “Investment Reward”) into the cash balance of your Stash Invest Account in accordance with these Promotion Terms.  

You are only eligible to participate in this Promotion if you received an invitation to participate in this Promotion directly from Stash. You are only eligible to receive one Funded Reward and one Investment Reward under this Promotion, as applicable to you. The Funded Reward and Investment Reward will be deposited into your Stash Invest account within thirty (30) calendar days from the date that you have satisfied either of the applicable conditions stated above. Any Funded Reward or Investment Reward deposited by Stash is a fixed cash value and does not constitute stock or any other security, nor is it a recommendation to buy any specific stock or other security. Any Funded Reward or Investment Reward must remain in your Stash Invest account for ninety (90) days beginning from the date such cash reward is deposited into your Stash Invest account and for the entirety of the 90-day period, which shall be determined by Stash in its sole discretion, or your Funded Reward or Investment Reward will be forfeited.

Your Stash Invest Account must be in good standing in order to participate in this Promotion. Stash reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion whether an account is closed and/or in good standing. An account in good standing for purposes of this Promotion is an account for which all required account opening documentation has been completed and verified, and is not locked, or restricted, or otherwise flagged in any way. If your Stash Invest Account is closed or not in good standing for any reason at any time, your eligibility to participate in this Promotion will be forfeited and any Funded Reward or Investment Reward will be forfeited.

Predetermined Compensation

Stash Investments LLC pays pre-determined compensation to affiliate marketers or other strategic partners who drive users to a Stash web property. Accordingly, you may have been redirected to a landing page or these Promotion Terms by such an incentivized third-party who would not have otherwise redirected you there. By continuing with the account opening process, you are acknowledging receipt of this disclosure. Stash and the referring party who directed you to this web property have entered into a written agreement whereby the referring party will use its best efforts to solicit and refer individuals as clients (“Prospective Clients”) to Stash in exchange for cash compensation to be paid by Stash. Such referring party is an independent contractor, and is not an affiliate, agent, representative, partner or employee of Stash nor does the referring party have authority to accept a client agreement on behalf of Stash, to collect or receive payment in its own name for any of Stash’s services, or to provide investment advice on behalf of Stash. The referring party’s referral does not constitute a statement of the referring party’s experience with, or endorsement of, Stash. Stash will pay the referring party for referral services provided by the referring party up to $73 for each prospective client who opens an account in accordance with these Promotion Terms. Stash will not charge you any additional fees as a result of its agreement with the referring party. The amount of fees that Stash will charge you for investment advisory services is the same as what it would customarily charge any new customer who was not referred by a referring party.

Stash is not responsible for any failure on your part to meet standards for qualifying for this Promotion.  Stash reserves the right to amend or cancel this Promotion and/or these Promotion Terms at any time. Stash may withhold or recover any Funded Reward or Investment Reward if Stash determines that such Funded Reward or Investment Reward was obtained under wrongful or fraudulent circumstances, or that you received an invitation from Stash to participate in this Promotion in error, or was awarded to you in error, or that inaccurate or incomplete information was provided when opening your account, or that any terms of our Advisory Agreement, Terms of Use, or these Promotion Terms have been violated. Promotion available to U.S residents only. This Promotion is not valid with any other promotions and is non-transferrable. The value of a Funded Reward or Investment Reward may be taxable income to you. You are responsible for any federal or state taxes resulting from receipt of any such reward and should consult your tax advisor if you have questions about the tax treatment of any such reward.
