Promotion Terms and Conditions

The Promotion

Effective May 29, 2020 (the “Effective Date”), when you receive an offer to participate in this Promotion and upgrade your monthly Stash Fee (as defined in your Advisory Agreement) from either the Stash Beginner platform tier or the Stash Growth platform tier to the Stash+ platform tier in accordance with the requirements described below, you will be eligible to receive a waiver of $4.00 off your monthly Stash Fee for your Fee Waiver Period (as defined below). This Promotion is subject to the terms and conditions stated herein (the “Promotion Terms”).

The fee waiver available pursuant to this Promotion is for a total of $4.00 off your monthly Stash Fee for your Fee Waiver Period. Accordingly, you will remain responsible for any monthly Stash Fees you owe that exceed $4.00 during your Fee Waiver Period, including any ancillary fees you owe that are not included in your monthly Stash Fee, whether due on your Stash Invest account, Stash Banking account, Stash Retire account, or Stash Custodial account, as applicable.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this Promotion, you must complete the following steps within thirty (30) calendar days from the date you receive your offer directly from Stash to participate in this Promotion (your “Offer Period”): (i) upgrade your monthly Stash Fee from either the monthly Stash Fee attributable to the Stash Beginner platform tier or the Stash Growth platform tier to the monthly Stash Fee attributable to the Stash+ platform tier, (ii) elect to pay for your monthly Stash Fee attributable to the Stash+ platform tier on a monthly basis in advance, and (iii) have neither upgraded nor downgraded your monthly Stash Fee at any time in the thirty (30) days prior to the start of your Offer Period. You will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion if during the process of upgrading to the Stash+ platform tier you select to pay for your monthly Stash Fee attributable to the Stash+ platform tier in advance on an annual basis. 

If you satisfy all of the conditions in the previous paragraph during your Offer Period, you will be eligible to claim a fee waiver of $4.00 off your monthly Stash Fee for the remainder of the calendar month that you successfully upgrade your monthly Stash Fee to the Stash+ platform tier, along with the entire calendar month that follows (such period shall be deemed your “Fee Waiver Period”). For example, if you receive an offer to participate in this Promotion directly from Stash on May 1, 2020 and you complete the requirements set forth above prior to the end of your Offer Period (e.g. you complete the requirements on May 15, 2020), then your Fee Waiver Period will be from May 15, 2020 through June 30, 2020.

In order for you to claim your fee waiver for all or a portion of your Fee Waiver Period, however, you must link (or have previously linked) a funding account (e.g. a bank account) to your Stash Invest account. The date that you link (or have previously linked) a funding account to your Stash Invest account will be deemed your “Linked Date” for purposes of these Promotion Terms. If your Linked Date is prior to the start of your Offer Period, your fee waiver hereunder will apply for your entire Fee Waiver Period. If your Linked Date is on or after the start of your Offer Period, your fee waiver hereunder will apply from your Linked Date through the remainder of your Fee Waiver Period. If your Linked Date occurs subsequent to the end of your Fee Waiver Period, you will forfeit your fee waiver hereunder. Further, if you downgrade your monthly Stash Fee attributable to the Stash+ platform tier at any time during your Fee Waiver Period, you will forfeit your eligibility to receive the fee waiver under this Promotion.

In furtherance of the example above, if your Linked Date is on or prior to May 15, 2020, you will receive a fee waiver for the entirety of your Fee Waiver Period. Alternatively, however, if your Linked Date is later than May 15, 2020 (e.g. June 1, 2020), you will only receive a fee waiver from June 1, 2020 through June 30, 2020, and not your entire Fee Waiver Period. 

You are only eligible to participate in this Promotion if you received this Promotion directly from Stash. Further, your Stash Invest account must be in good standing to receive the fee waiver under this Promotion. If your Stash Invest account is closed or not in good standing for any reason at any time, any fee waiver you receive hereunder will be forfeited. A “Stash Invest account” is an individual brokerage account advised by Stash Investments LLC. An account in good standing for purposes of this Promotion is an account for which all required account opening documentation has been completed and verified, and is not locked, or restricted, or otherwise flagged in any way. Stash reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion whether an account is closed and/or in good standing.

As noted above, the fee waiver available pursuant to this Promotion is a total of $4.00 off your monthly Stash Fee for your Fee Waiver Period. Accordingly, you will remain responsible for any monthly Stash Fees you owe that exceed $4.00 during your Fee Waiver Period, including any ancillary fees you owe that are not included in your monthly Stash Fee, whether due on your Stash Invest account, Stash Banking account, Stash Retire account, or Stash Custodial account, as applicable. A list of such ancillary fees is included in our Advisory Agreement. Stash is not responsible for any failure on your part to meet standards for qualifying for this Promotion. Stash may withhold or recover any fees waived if Stash determines that such fee waiver was obtained under wrongful or fraudulent circumstances, or was awarded to you in error, or that you received an invitation to participate in this Promotion in error, or that inaccurate or incomplete information was provided when opening your account, or that any terms of our Advisory Agreement, Terms of Use, or these Promotion Terms have been violated. Stash reserves the right to amend or cancel this Promotion and/or these Promotion Terms at any time. Promotion available to U.S residents only.
