Promotion Terms & Conditions 

Effective May 14, 2021 

THE PROMOTION

When you receive this promotional offer from Stash and meet the eligibility criteria specified below, Stash will make a one-time deposit of funds in the dollar amount specified in the offer (“Bonus Funds”) into your Personal Portfolio (as defined below). This Promotion is subject to the terms and conditions stated herein (the “Promotion Terms”). 

ELIGIBILITY

To participate in this Promotion you must (1) have completed the designated registration process of opening an individual taxable brokerage account advised by Stash Investments LLC that is in good standing (a “Personal Portfolio”), (2) directly receive an offer to participate in this Promotion directly from Stash, and (3) submit your contact information after receiving a valid quote for life insurance offered by our partner Bestow Agency LLC (“Bestow”). For the avoidance of doubt, in the event you only complete the designated registration process to receive the Financial Counseling Service (if applicable to you, as such term is defined in your Advisory Agreement) from Stash, or you do not otherwise complete the designated registration process required for opening a Personal Portfolio, you will not be eligible to receive the Bonus Funds hereunder. 

The Bonus Funds will be deposited to your Personal Portfolio cash balance within 30 days of satisfying the eligibility criteria specified in the previous paragraph. The Bonus Funds deposited by Stash is a fixed cash value and is not stock or any other security, nor a recommendation to buy any specific stock or other security. Tax-advantaged accounts (including Stash Retire and Stash Custodial accounts) and a Stash Smart Portfolio are not eligible for purposes of this Promotion. This Promotion is not valid with any other promotions and is non-transferrable. Bonus Funds will only be paid on the first valid application for life insurance that you submit to Bestow. This Promotion is only available to U.S. Residents; provided, however, that this Promotion is not available to residents of AK, CO, CT, DE, HI, KS, LA, MA, MD MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NY, VA, VT, WI, and WY. The maximum aggregate value of Bonus Funds that you may receive pursuant to this Promotion is ten dollars ($10) in all states where this Promotion is available. Bonus Funds must remain in your Personal Portfolio for ninety (90) days beginning from the date such Bonus Funds are deposited into your Personal Portfolio and for the entirety of the 90-day period.

Your Personal Portfolio must remain in good standing in order to receive any Bonus Funds under this Promotion. Stash reserves the right to determine in our sole discretion whether an account is closed and/or in good standing. An account in good standing for purposes of this Promotion is an account for which all required opening documentation has been completed and verified, and is not locked, or restricted, or otherwise flagged in any way. If your Personal Portfolio is closed or not in good standing for any reason at any time, any Bonus Funds will be forfeited.

You remain responsible for ancillary fees that are not included in the monthly Wrap Fee. A list of such ancillary fees is included in your Advisory Agreement. Stash is not responsible for any failure on your part to meet standards for qualifying for this Promotion. Stash reserves the right to amend or cancel this Promotion and/or these Promotion Terms at any time. Stash may withhold or recover any Bonus Funds if Stash determines that such funds were obtained under wrongful or fraudulent circumstances, or that you received an invitation from Stash to participate in this Promotion in error, or were awarded to you in error, or that inaccurate or incomplete information was provided when opening your account, or that any terms of your Advisory Agreement, Terms of Use, or these Promotion Terms have been violated. Promotion available to U.S residents only. This Promotion is not valid with any other promotions and is non-transferrable. The value of the Bonus Funds hereunder may be taxable income to you. You are responsible for any federal or state taxes resulting from receipt of the Bonus Funds hereunder and should consult your tax advisor if you have questions about the tax treatment of such Bonus Funds. 

If, for any reason, this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Stash which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Stash reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with this Promotion, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion. In the event of termination, Stash may in its sole discretion award Bonus Funds to those who have satisfied the eligibility criteria set forth herein up until the time of termination. Stash assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, this Promotion. Stash is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Stash on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Promotion.

A+ (Superior), the second highest rating out of 15 categories, was affirmed by A.M. Best for North American Company for Life and Health Insurance as part of Sammons Financial Group on August 2, 2018. A.M. Best is a large third party independent reporting and rating company that rates an insurance company on the basis of the company’s financial strength, operating performance and ability to meet its ongoing obligations to policyholders.
