Terms and Conditions

The Program

We are offering a one-time $100 cash bonus when you successfully refer two (2) friends to Stash in accordance with these terms and conditions. Your friends must sign up during your Offer Period (as defined below). This Program is subject to the terms and conditions stated herein (the “Program Terms”).

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in this Program, you must receive an offer to participate in this program directly from Stash and satisfy the following requirements during the offer period specified in your offer to participate in this Program (your “Offer Period”): (i) you must have an individual taxable brokerage account advised by Stash Investments LLC that is in good standing (a “Personal Portfolio”), and (ii) you must successfully refer two (2) friends to Stash and each of them must open either a Qualifying New Personal Portfolio or a Qualifying New Banking Account (as such terms are defined below) during your Offer Period. Your friends must also adhere to all required account opening agreements.

To constitute a “Qualifying New Personal Portfolio” hereunder, your referee friend must do each of the following during your Offer Period: (i) complete the designated registration process for opening a Personal Portfolio by using the special designated referral link included in your invitation, (ii) link a funding source (e.g. an external bank account) to their Personal Portfolio, and (iii) initiate and complete a minimum deposit of at least one cent ($0.01) from their funding source into their Personal Portfolio.

To constitute a “Qualifying New Banking Account” hereunder, your referee friend must do each of the following during your Offer Period: (i) complete the designated registration process for opening a Stash banking account powered by by an unaffiliated FDIC Member partner bank (“Partner Bank”) that is in good standing (a “Stash Banking account”) by using the special designated referral link included in your invitation, (ii) link a funding source (e.g. an external bank account) to their Stash Banking account, and (iii) initiate and complete a minimum deposit of at least one cent ($0.01) from their funding source into their Stash Banking account.

For the avoidance of doubt, in the event you or your referee friend only complete the designated registration process to receive the Financial Counseling Service (if applicable, as such term is defined in your Advisory Agreement) from Stash, or you or your referee friend do not otherwise complete the designated registration process for opening a Personal Portfolio or a Stash Banking account (as applicable) in accordance with these Program Terms, you or your referee friend will not be eligible to participate in this Program. For purposes of this Program, a deposit of funds shall be considered complete once the transaction has fully settled in an account.

Stash and/or Partner Bank reserve the right to determine in our/its sole or joint discretion whether an account is closed and/or in good standing. An account in good standing for purposes of this Program is an account for which all required account opening documentation has been completed and verified, and is not locked, or restricted, or otherwise flagged in any way. If either account is closed or not in good standing for any reason at any time, any cash bonuses or stock rewards awarded hereunder will be forfeited.

A Stash Banking account opened hereunder is subject to approval by Partner Bank. The applicant must agree to electronic delivery of disclosures, Partner Bank’s deposit account agreement, and any other account opening documentation required for opening a Stash Banking account. There is no guarantee that an applicant will be approved to open a Stash Banking account.

Bonus Funds

If you satisfy the eligibility requirements set forth above during your Offer Period, Stash will make a one-time deposit of one hundred dollars ($100) (the “Bonus Funds”) into the cash balance of your Personal Portfolio.

The Bonus Funds will be paid within ten (10) business days of satisfying the eligibility requirements set forth herein. You are only eligible to receive one (1) deposit of Bonus Funds during your Offer Period. The Bonus Funds hereunder are in addition to the cash bonus or stock reward per referral that you and your referee friend are eligible to earn under the Stash It Forward program, the terms of which can be found here: https://cdn.stash.com/disclosures/referral_solicitation_agreement.html (the “Stash It Forward Terms”). This Program is governed by the Stash It Forward Terms, and Stash It Forward Terms are hereby incorporated by reference into these Program Terms with the same force and effect as though fully set forth herein. All referral invitations that you send under this Program must be sent in strict accordance with the Stash It Forward Terms.

Any Bonus Funds deposited by Stash hereunder is a fixed cash value and does not constitute stock nor any other security, nor is it a recommendation to buy any specific stock or other security. Bonus Funds must remain in your Stash Invest Account for ninety (90) days beginning from the date the Bonus Funds are deposited in such account and for the entirety of the 90-day period, which shall be determined by Stash in its sole discretion.

Other Information

The term “Stash” refers to Stash Investments LLC. Stash is not responsible for any failure on your part or your referee friends’ part to meet standards for qualifying for this Program. Stash Custodial Accounts, IRAs, Smart Portfolios, and Crypto Accounts are not eligible as part of this Program. Stash reserves the right to amend or cancel this Program or these Program Terms at any time.

Stash Investments LLC is an SEC registered investment adviser. You may view our Wrap Fee Brochure and our Advisory Agreements at https://www.stash.com/disclosurelibrary. You remain responsible for ancillary fees that are not included in the monthly Wrap Fee. A list of such ancillary fees is included in our Advisory Agreement. Stash is not responsible for any failure on your part to meet standards for qualifying for this Program. Stash may withhold or recover any Bonus Funds if Stash determines that such funds were obtained under wrongful or fraudulent circumstances, or that you received an invitation from Stash to participate in this Program in error, or were awarded to you in error, or that inaccurate or incomplete information was provided when opening your account, or that any terms of our Advisory Agreement, Terms of Use, or these Program Terms have been violated. Program available to U.S residents only. This Program is not valid with any other promotions and is non-transferrable (except solely with respect to the Stash It Forward program). The value of the Bonus Funds hereunder may be taxable income to you. You are responsible for any federal or state taxes resulting from receipt of the Bonus Funds hereunder and should consult your tax advisor if you have questions about the tax treatment of Bonus Funds.

In the event of termination, Stash may in its sole discretion award Bonus Funds to those who have satisfied the eligibility criteria set forth herein up until the time of termination. Stash assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, this Program. Stash is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Stash on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Program.
