Stash National Retirement Security Week Promotion Terms and Conditions

The Promotion

Effective October 18, 2020 (the “Effective Date”), when you meet the eligibility requirements set forth below, open a Stash Retire account and complete your first transfer of at least $5 into your Stash Retire account during your “Offer Period” (as defined below), we will make a one-time deposit of $5 into the cash balance of your Stash Retire account. This Promotion is subject to the terms and conditions stated herein (the “Promotion Terms”).

Eligibility

To be eligible for this Promotion, you must complete the following steps within seven (7) calendar days from the date that you receive an offer directly from Stash to participate in this Promotion (your “Offer Period): (i) upgrade your monthly Stash Fee from the fee attributable to the Stash Beginner platform tier service to the fee attributable to either the Stash Growth platform tier service or the Stash+ platform tier service, (ii) complete the process of opening an individual retirement account (including a Roth IRA or Traditional IRA) advised by Stash Investments LLC that is in good standing (a “Stash Retire account”), (iii) link a funding account (e.g. an external bank account) to your Stash Retire account, AND (iv) initiate and complete a transfer of at least five dollars ($5.00) from your funding account into your Stash Retire account. For purposes of this Promotion, a transfer of funds shall be considered complete once the transaction has fully settled. If you satisfy the conditions stated above within your Offer Period, Stash will make a one-time deposit of five dollars ($5.00) into the cash balance of your Stash Retire account (the “Bonus Funds”) within five (5) calendar days.

You are only eligible for this Promotion if you received an offer to participate in this Promotion directly from Stash. You are only eligible to receive one reward of Bonus Funds during your Offer Period. In the event you complete multiple transfers of funds from your funding account into your Stash Retire account during your Offer Period, you are only eligible to receive one reward of Bonus Funds under this Promotion. Further and for the avoidance of doubt, a transfer of funds during your Offer Period from your funding account into any other Stash account you may have other than a Stash Retire account, including a Stash Invest account, Stash Banking account or Stash Custodial account, will not make you eligible to receive Bonus Funds hereunder.

The Bonus Funds deposited by Stash is a fixed cash value and does not constitute stock or any other security, nor is it a recommendation to buy any specific stock or other security. Your Stash Retire account must be in good standing in order to participate in this Promotion and to receive the one-time deposit of Bonus Funds hereunder. Stash reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion whether an account is closed and/or in good standing. An account in good standing for purposes of this Promotion is an account for which all required opening documentation has been completed and verified, and is not locked, or restricted, or otherwise flagged in any way. If your Stash Retire account is closed or not in good standing for any reason at any time, your eligibility to participate in this Promotion will be forfeited.

Stash is not responsible for any failure on your part to meet standards for qualifying for this Promotion.  Stash reserves the right to amend or cancel this Promotion and/or these Promotion Terms at any time. Stash may withhold or recover any Bonus Funds if Stash determines that such Bonus Funds were obtained under wrongful or fraudulent circumstances, or that you received an invitation from Stash to participate in this Promotion in error, or was awarded to you in error, or that inaccurate or incomplete information was provided when opening your account, or that any terms of our Advisory Agreement, Terms of Use, or these Promotion Terms have been violated. Promotion available to U.S residents only. This Promotion is not valid with any other promotions and is non-transferrable. The value of Bonus Funds hereunder may be taxable income to you. You are responsible for any federal or state taxes resulting from receipt of Bonus Funds hereunder and should consult your tax advisor if you have questions about the tax treatment of Bonus Funds.
